Karishma Kotak is a British model, actress, and TV presenter. Born in London, she began her career at the age of 16. She gained significant recognition in the Indian entertainment industry after moving to Mumbai in 2005.
Kotak’s career took a major turn after she was featured in the 2006 Kingfisher Calendar, which helped her gain prominence in the Indian fashion scene. She has since worked with several popular brands for TV commercials and print advertisements. Beyond modeling, she has also been a host for various events, including the Indian Premier League’s “Extraaa Innings” in its sixth season. She also gained nationwide recognition after appearing on “Bigg Boss” Season 6.
Karishma Kotak has also acted in films across different languages. She worked with South Indian superstar Chiranjeevi in the 2007 Telugu film, Shankar Dada Zindabad, a remake of the Hindi film Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Her filmography also includes sharing screen space with Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the 2016 movie Freaky Ali, as well as working in Punjabi cinema, with an appearance in the film Kaptaan.
Recently, Kotak was in the news after receiving an unexpected marriage proposal from Harshit Tomar, the co-owner of the World Championship of Legends (WCL), during a live post-match broadcast. The moment, which took place at the WCL 2025 final, quickly went viral. During the interaction, after Kotak asked Tomar about his celebration plans, he responded, “Probably once this is over, I’m going to propose to you,” leaving her visibly stunned.
