Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Maharaj was today met by Shri Om Datt Dev Ji, Trustee and Manager of Bhagwat Peeth, Shri Shukdev Ashram, Muzaffarnagar, and the renowned Bhagwat orator Acharya Achal Krishna Shastri Ji (also known as Achal Mishra Ji) in Lucknow. Senior social worker Shri Ramesh Malik Ji was also present on this significant occasion.
The meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s residence, where discussions on various issues of religious and social importance are expected. Acharya Achal Krishna Shastri Ji is well-known for his eloquent discourses and profound knowledge of the Bhagwat Katha. Shri Shukdev Ashram, Muzaffarnagar, is a reputable religious institution actively involved in spiritual and social work.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has a deep connection with Shukdev Ashram and Shukteerth, having visited the holy site multiple times in the past. Recently, in June 2025, he attended a saintly gathering and Satsang program at Shukteerth, Muzaffarnagar. Earlier, in July 2023, he also visited Shukteerth and inaugurated development projects worth over 241 crore rupees. He has also visited Shukteerth on the death anniversary of Education Rishi Swami Kalyan Dev Ji Maharaj.
This meeting is seen as a significant step towards promoting coordination and cooperation in the religious and social spheres, highlighting the Chief Minister’s continued interest in the development and religious activities of this sacred place.
