New Delhi, December 09, 2025: Following the massive success of the action-thriller film Dhurandhar, actor Arjun Rampal, who plays the formidable ISI Officer Major Iqbal, has penned a deeply heartfelt post on social media, showering praise on his co-stars and the entire crew. The film, which has stormed the box office, has clearly been a rewarding experience for the ensemble cast.
Rampal’s long, sweet note was a gesture of gratitude for the “incredible love, support and acceptance” the audience has shown the film, which was released on December 5, 2025. He began by expressing profound appreciation for the film’s writer, director, and co-producer, Aditya Dhar, whom he affectionately called “Boiya” (Kashmiri for brother).
The actor then moved on to highlighting the stellar performances of his fellow actors, starting with a special mention for R. Madhavan, who plays an Indian intelligence officer, Ajay Sanyal. Rampal enthusiastically declared Madhavan as “pure genius” and added a personal note: “Can’t wait to do scenes with you one day.”
He was equally effusive in his praise for Akshaye Khanna, who embodies the character of Rehman Dakait. Rampal stated, “you owned it. Ruled it. Hit it out of the park. More power to you.” This acknowledgment underscores the impact of Khanna’s performance, which has also been highly lauded by critics and fans.
Saving his strongest words for the film’s lead, Ranveer Singh, Rampal referred to him as “The beast, the wrath of God. Hamza.” He recounted the journey of working alongside him: “Man it was a beautiful journey to watch your focus, determination, mad methods, to stay in character. You were unabashed, fearless and endearing.” He also humorously thanked Ranveer for “the ice baths,” a possible nod to the intense physical preparations for the spy thriller.
Beyond the main cast, Rampal made sure to thank other pivotal figures, including co-star Sanjay Dutt (“you know I love you. Thank you for just being you. Big Jappi”), Sara Arjun, and veteran actor Rakesh Bedi.
He dedicated a significant part of the post to the director Aditya Dhar, noting that the film was Dhar’s “vision and passion.” Rampal praised the director’s meticulous research, the depth of all the characters, and his ability to “soak up all the pressure while filming and never had a bad day.” He also extended his thanks to the technical crew, including the cinematographer and editor, emphasizing the collaborative effort behind the blockbuster.
The spy-thriller, which has crossed the ₹100 crore mark at the domestic box office within its opening weekend, has clearly created a powerful impression on its cast. Arjun Rampal concluded his lengthy note with a tantalizing line that has sparked excitement among fans: “I know this is long, kya kare baddi picture hain (What can I do, since it is a lengthy movie). To all those who read till here. All I can say is welcome to the cult.” This ending, combined with the film’s post-credits scene, has strongly hinted at a potential sequel, Dhurandhar Part 2, leaving audiences eager for the next installment of the high-octane spy saga.
