New Delhi, December 13, 2025: A bizarre viral video showing a large trailer transporting a helicopter stuck on a slip road and causing massive traffic congestion in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, has led to an official police investigation. The unexpected obstruction, which was widely documented across social media platforms, caused significant inconvenience to thousands of commuters, critically including an emergency vehicle.
The widely circulated footage, which first gained traction on TikTok, captured the extraordinary scene of a long-haul lorry and its oversized cargo—the body of a helicopter—completely blocking an exit ramp. Preliminary investigations found that the incident occurred on December 4th at approximately 4:30 PM at the slip road connecting the Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) to Jalan Persiaran Kewajipan.
It was revealed by the Subang Jaya District Police Chief that the trailer was unable to successfully negotiate the turning maneuver due to the excessive length and bulk of its cargo, which left the vehicle stranded across multiple lanes. The resulting gridlock led to widespread frustration and delays during a peak traffic hour.

The severity of the incident was significantly heightened by the fact that an ambulance was also observed being caught in the resulting traffic congestion. The blockage of the emergency vehicle raised serious public safety concerns, underscoring the potential life-threatening consequences of such unplanned and irresponsible traffic disruptions.
The police investigation was launched after a formal report regarding the viral video was received at 8:06 PM on the following day. The probe is focusing on the conduct of the driver and the logistics company responsible for the transport, with authorities emphasizing that the obstruction severely disrupted the smooth passage of all road users.
The case is currently being investigated under Rule 9(2) of the Road Traffic Rules 1959, which addresses causing obstruction and inconvenience to other road users. Furthermore, the reported delay of the ambulance may lead to additional scrutiny under sections related to failing to give way to emergency vehicles.
As of the latest reports, the registration number of the trailer involved in the incident has yet to be officially identified by the authorities. Members of the public who may possess further information or dashcam footage have been urged to contact the investigating officer from the Subang Jaya District Police Headquarters’ Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division to assist with the ongoing probe. The incident serves as a stern reminder of the essential need for proper route planning and adherence to strict safety regulations when oversized loads are transported on public thoroughfares.
