Nanded Triple Murder Case: Six Arrested and Remanded to Police Custody Following Gang Rivalry

New Delhi, April 6, 2026: In a significant breakthrough, the Nanded police have arrested six individuals in connection with a violent triple murder that shook the city over the weekend. The incident, which reportedly stemmed from a long-standing feud between two local gangs, resulted in a brutal confrontation that spilled over into a government medical facility.

Following their arrest, the suspects were produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC). The court has remanded all six accused to police custody until April 8 to allow for further investigation into the conspiracy and the recovery of weapons used in the crime.

The Incident: A Fatal Gang Conflict

According to police reports, the violence erupted in the early hours of Saturday between members of the ‘Sada’ gang and the ‘Sai Lala’ gang. The conflict began on Friday night when Arjit Singh and his associates were returning from a cinema hall. Members of a rival gang, who had allegedly been tracking Singh’s movements, intercepted the group.

The confrontation quickly turned deadly as both sides used daggers and other sharp-edged weapons. Two individuals, identified by authorities as Arjit Singh and Mohammad Arbaz, were killed on the spot during the initial clash.

Hospital Security Breach

The violence did not end at the initial crime scene. A third victim, Sayyed Avez, who sustained grievous injuries during the brawl, was rushed to a nearby government hospital for emergency treatment. In a shocking lapse of security, the rivalry followed the victims into the medical center.

Initial investigations suggest that Avez was fatally stabbed while inside the casualty ward of the hospital. Police officials have indicated that the attack inside the hospital was carried out in retaliation, allegedly involving Singh’s brother, who targeted Avez while he was receiving treatment.

Police Action and Arrests

Police Inspector Santosh Tambe confirmed that two cross-FIRs have been registered in relation to the clashes. Following a swift operation, the Nanded police apprehended six suspects identified as:

• Nagesh Ladde
• Gajanan Chavan
• Pradeep Chavan

The authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from both the site of the initial ambush and the hospital premises to identify any additional accomplices.

The triple murder has created a sense of unease in Nanded, prompting the local administration to increase patrolling in sensitive areas to prevent any further retaliatory violence. The police are also investigating the source of the weapons and whether the gangs were involved in other criminal activities in the region.
