New Delhi, Nov 24: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has recently updated its guidelines for correcting names on Aadhaar cards. The new rules aim to streamline the process and make it more convenient for Aadhaar cardholders.

What’s Changed?

Previously, Aadhaar cardholders were required to submit physical documents to update their names. However, the new rules allow for online name correction through the UIDAI portal or by visiting an Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
