Viral Troop Video Pre-dates Delhi Attack

The footage was shared with claims suggesting it depicts the Pakistan Army actively mobilising troops from Balochistan towards the Indian border, ostensibly in anticipation of retaliation from India. This narrative of immediate military escalation was quickly disseminated across digital channels, leading to widespread concern and speculation.

However, the claims surrounding the video have been thoroughly debunked by fact-checking agencies. The footage in question was found to be significantly older than the Delhi terror incident, which took place on November 10, 2025. Through digital analysis, the clip was traced back to an upload date as early as April 26, 2025, several months before the Delhi attack was carried out. This clear temporal discrepancy proves that the troop movement shown in the video is completely unrelated to the recent terror event.

The True Timeline of the Viral Clip

The investigation into the video’s origin was conducted through a process of reverse image searching and date verification. The original upload of the clip was located on a popular short-form video platform, with the timestamp explicitly indicating its posting in April 2025. While the exact location and destination of the military train in the older video could not be definitively determined, the possibility of the footage being from Pakistan was deemed likely, given the hashtags and geotagged information associated with the uploader’s profile.

It was noted that the original posting of the video coincided with a period of heightened tension following a major terror attack in Pahalgam, which was followed by an Indian military response, codenamed Operation Sindoor, in May 2025. It is therefore theorized that the troop movement, if authentic, may have been related to the military posture that was adopted by Pakistan during that earlier phase of Indo-Pakistani tensions. Regardless of the April context, the video is confirmed not to be a reaction to the current situation in Delhi.
