The tactical shooter world is buzzing as Delta Force officially launches its latest major update: Season Morphosis. Following its massive success on Steam, Team Jade is turning up the heat with a suite of new content that fundamentally changes how players approach the battlefield. From a support specialist who controls the “swarm” to a map that literally crumbles around you, Morphosis is a transformative leap for the franchise.
The face of Season Morphosis is the new Support Operator, Lina Van der Meer, codenamed Vlinder. Inspired by the theme of rebirth, Vlinder is a game-changer for squad survivability.
The most ambitious addition to the Warfare mode is the new map, Aftershock. Set in a crumbling city, this map introduces a level of environmental destruction rarely seen in modern shooters.
“Team Jade has delivered a battlefield where nearly 95% of the buildings are destructible.”
Players can trigger seismic events, collapse entire structures to crush enemies, and turn once-solid cover into rubble. The map forces a shift in strategy; a sniper’s nest that was safe five minutes ago might be a pile of dust by the end of the match.
Morphosis doesn’t stop at new maps. It introduces Fiery Owl Hunt, a unique twist on the extraction formula where players can actually step into the shoes of the boss, Saeed. As Saeed, the map’s AI guards become your allies, giving you a terrifying advantage over other squads.
Other major updates include:
Listening to the community, the developers have implemented several highly requested features. Players can now enjoy solo-queue matchmaking for Layali Grove, a “Normal” difficulty setting for the Tide Prison raid, and a new in-game vehicle customization system to trick out tanks and helicopters.
Season Morphosis is a bold statement from Team Jade, proving that Delta Force is ready to compete with the heavyweights of the tactical FPS genre.
