New Delhi, March 26, 2026: Samsung has officially expanded its popular A-series lineup with the global unveiling of the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G. Positioned as the new benchmarks for the mid-range segment in 2026, these devices are designed to bridge the gap between affordability and flagship-tier innovation, particularly in the realms of artificial intelligence and mobile photography.
Under the banner of “Awesome Intelligence,” Samsung is bringing features previously reserved for its premium S-series to a much broader audience.
The standout feature of this year’s release is the deep integration of AI through One UI 8.5 (based on Android 16). Samsung’s new “Awesome Intelligence” suite aims to simplify daily tasks:
Samsung has focused heavily on the Image Signal Processor (ISP) to enhance low-light performance across both models.
| Feature | Galaxy A57 5G | Galaxy A37 5G |
| Main Sensor | 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) | 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) |
| Ultra-Wide | 12MP (f/2.2) | 8MP (f/2.2) |
| Macro | 5MP (f/2.4) | 5MP (f/2.4) |
| Front Camera | 12MP (f/2.2) | 12MP (f/2.2) |
The Galaxy A57 5G stands out with its Nightography enhancements and a faster shutter speed, reducing motion blur in challenging lighting. Both phones support 10-bit HDR recording, ensuring vibrant colors and high dynamic range in video content.
Both smartphones sport a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Galaxy A57 5G utilizes the “Super AMOLED+” variant, which is thinner and more energy-efficient. With Vision Booster technology, these screens can reach a peak brightness of 1,900 nits, ensuring perfect legibility even under direct sunlight.
In a significant move for sustainability and value, Samsung has committed to six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for both models.
The build quality has also seen an upgrade. Both devices now carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. They are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both the front and back, housed within a slim 6.9mm (A57) or 7.4mm (A37) profile.
The devices are expected to hit shelves starting April 10, 2026.
With these launches, Samsung reinforces its dominance in the mid-range market by offering a “future-proof” experience that doesn’t compromise on the premium AI tools that are defining the 2026 mobile landscape.
