Following the successful initial launch of the standard K90 and K90 Pro Max variants in late 2025, the upcoming “Ultra” edition is designed to break away from traditional smartphone limits. According to reputable industry tipsters, this upcoming iteration focuses entirely on two core pillars that matter most to modern power users: top-tier, sustained gaming performance and unprecedented battery longevity. By combining high-end processing hardware with experimental thermal designs, Redmi is attempting to change how consumers view mobile gaming endurance.

Shifting From Passive Cooling to Active Airflow

For years, mainstream smartphones have relied exclusively on passive cooling mechanisms, such as multi-layered graphite sheets and vapor chambers, to keep internal temperatures low. Redmi is addressing this issue directly by introducing a physical, built-in active cooling fan inside the device’s chassis. Unleashing the Power of Dual-Chip Performance

At the heart of this hardware architecture sits MediaTek’s latest high-end silicon, the Dimensity 9500 chipset. Built on a highly efficient 3nanometer processing node, this octa-core CPU delivers a major leap in power efficiency and processing capability. Because there are no current plans for an overclocked “Plus” variant from MediaTek this cycle, Redmi engineers are relying on the active internal fan to extract every bit of raw processing power from the standard chip.
