The Mains examination is a comprehensive test designed to evaluate candidates for the clerical post. It consists of four sections and will be conducted for a total of 200 marks over 160 minutes.

There is a negative marking scheme, where 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
