December 03, 2025: In a shocking and tragic incident that has sent ripples across the state, an 18-year-old social media vlogger, Prince Patel (who reportedly went by the name ‘PKR Blogger’ online), died instantly in a horrific motorcycle crash in Surat, Gujarat. The accident, which occurred near Breadliner Circle, has once again brought the critical issue of high-speed stunts and road safety, particularly among youth creating social media content, into sharp focus.
The incident took place on a recent Monday morning. According to Khatodara police and eyewitness reports, Patel was riding his KTM sports bike, which he had affectionately named ‘Laila’ and frequently featured in his videos, at an allegedly extremely high speed—reportedly clocking 140 kmph—when he lost control. The bike was descending the flyover from the VNSGU side towards Breadliner Circle when it violently collided with the road divider.
Police investigators confirmed the impact was devastating. Prince Patel was tragically killed on the spot due to the severity of his head injuries. It was noted that the young vlogger was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The KTM bike, due to its sheer momentum, reportedly continued to skid further down the road after the rider was thrown off.
What makes this accident particularly poignant is the victim’s association with high-speed bike-riding content creation, often referred to as ‘reels’ or ‘vlogs’ on social media platforms. Investigators found that Patel had a fondness for creating these adrenaline-fueled videos and had previously uploaded footage showing his bike reaching the alarming speed of 140 kmph. His online presence and passion for extreme biking have now turned his death into a cautionary tale.
The local police have registered a case of fatal accident and have initiated an investigation. They are reportedly examining CCTV footage from the area and are looking through the victim’s mobile phone to gather more clues about the circumstances leading up to the crash.
This tragic loss of a young life highlights a disturbing trend where the desire for social media fame and likes often pushes young riders to perform dangerous stunts and engage in reckless speeding on public roads.
Authorities and road safety advocates are using this incident to issue a serious reminder to all citizens, especially the youth, about the fatal consequences of ignoring traffic laws and safety precautions. Riding a powerful sports bike at such high speeds, coupled with the crucial failure to wear a safety helmet, exponentially increases the risk of a fatal outcome.
The Khatodara police are urging parents, schools, and social media platforms to take responsibility in educating young people about safe driving practices, emphasizing that no amount of online popularity is worth risking a life. The road is not a racetrack, and safety must always be the first priority.
