New Delhi, December 23, 2025: A major controversy has been ignited following the circulation of a 4-minute and 44-second viral video allegedly captured inside the Namo Bharat (RRTS) train. In the footage, which surfaced in late December 2025, a young couple was observed engaging in intimate acts within a nearly empty coach. The incident has not only sparked public ire regarding “indecent behavior” in public transport but has also raised serious questions about how internal CCTV footage was leaked onto social media platforms.
The incident reportedly took place on November 24, 2024, while the train was moving toward the Modinagar (North) station on the Ghaziabad-Meerut section. However, the video only gained massive traction in December 2025 after being shared via “MMS links” on various messaging apps.

Following the viral spread of the clip, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has initiated an internal probe. While the organization has yet to file a formal FIR, they have acknowledged the breach and are taking steps to identify the source of the leak.
The “Namo Bharat Train Viral Video” has reignited a complex debate regarding the ethics of surveillance and the responsibility of passengers. As the year 2025 closes, the case remains under active investigation. Both the authorities and the public are calling for stricter monitoring—not just of the passengers, but of the personnel who have access to the surveillance feed.
