New Delhi, November 17, 2025: A highly unconventional video was recently circulated online, capturing significant attention. The content, which has gone viral, shows a man performing a “Digital Gutter Snan” (Digital Drain Bath) allegedly for the Ola Electric CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal.
The video features the man using a phone to show a picture of an Ola electric scooter immersed in a muddy puddle or drain, while symbolically bathing himself in a small container of water. This act of protest was carried out as a public expression of frustration regarding persistent delays in the delivery of Ola electric scooters.
The satirical “Snan” was apparently performed as a response to a viral incident that had previously involved an Ola Electric scooter. In an unrelated but widely shared earlier video, an Ola electric scooter was shown being pulled out of a drain. This incident was referenced and parodied by the man in the newer video.
The primary cause for the public performance was the extended waiting period experienced by customers who had booked the scooters. Allegations of poor communication and unfulfilled promises were made by the frustrated customer base.
To date, a formal statement has not been issued by Ola Electric or its CEO regarding the specific video. However, general efforts have been made by the company to address customer complaints about delivery timelines. It is hoped that internal processes will be reviewed and improved delivery schedules will be implemented.
The incident, which was created purely for satirical purposes, has successfully highlighted a serious operational issue faced by the electric vehicle manufacturer. Public perception of the brand is now being shaped by these viral expressions of dissatisfaction.
