Key Dates and Overview

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam, which saw the participation of lakhs of aspirants, was conducted from September 12 to September 26, 2025, with a re-exam held on October 14, 2025, for a select group of candidates. The provisional answer key was released earlier, and the commission is now in the final phase of result processing.

How to Check the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result and Merit List

The result will be published on the official SSC website in the form of a PDF merit list containing the roll numbers and names of the candidates who have qualified for the Tier 2 examination.

1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the Staff Selection Commission’s official website, ssc.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the Results Section: Look for the ‘Result’ tab, typically found in the main navigation bar, and click on it.
3. Select CGL Tab: In the results section, choose the ‘CGL’ tab.

SSC CGL Scorecard and Cut-Off Marks
