SSC CGL Scorecard and Cut-Off Marks

The Staff Selection Commission will release the individual scorecards and the final cut-off marks after the merit list is published. The scorecard is important as it provides a breakdown of marks and the normalized score.

  • Scorecard Access: A separate link will be activated for candidates to view their individual marks. You will need your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password to log in to the candidate dashboard on the official website.
  • Normalization: Since the exam was conducted across multiple shifts, the marks will undergo a normalization process to ensure fairness across all candidates. The final score displayed will be the normalized score.

Candidates should download and save a copy of their scorecard for future reference in the recruitment process.

What Follows the Tier 1 Result?

Qualifying the Tier 1 exam is mandatory to proceed to the next stage, but the marks obtained in Tier 1 are only qualifying in nature and are not added to the final merit list.

  • Tier 2 Examination: Shortlisted candidates will become eligible to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam, which is tentatively scheduled for January or February 2026. This stage is crucial as the final selection merit list is based on the aggregate performance in the Tier 2 and subsequent stages (where applicable).
  • Preparation: Qualified candidates must immediately focus on their Tier 2 preparation, which comprises subjects like Quantitative Abilities, Reasoning, English Comprehension, and General Awareness.

Aspirants are advised to keep checking the official website, ssc.gov.in, regularly for the most accurate and timely updates regarding the result declaration and the subsequent Tier 2 schedule.
