
New Delhi, December 08, 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to release the results for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 Examination 2025. This highly anticipated announcement, expected tentatively in the second week of December 2025, will determine which candidates move forward in the recruitment process for thousands of coveted Group B and C posts across various Central Government departments.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam, which saw the participation of lakhs of aspirants, was conducted from September 12 to September 26, 2025, with a re-exam held on October 14, 2025, for a select group of candidates. The provisional answer key was released earlier, and the commission is now in the final phase of result processing.

The result will be published on the official SSC website in the form of a PDF merit list containing the roll numbers and names of the candidates who have qualified for the Tier 2 examination.
The Staff Selection Commission will release the individual scorecards and the final cut-off marks after the merit list is published. The scorecard is important as it provides a breakdown of marks and the normalized score.
Candidates should download and save a copy of their scorecard for future reference in the recruitment process.
Qualifying the Tier 1 exam is mandatory to proceed to the next stage, but the marks obtained in Tier 1 are only qualifying in nature and are not added to the final merit list.
