Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri & Dharna Get Unfiltered for Maa Behen

0

New Delhi, June 4, 2026: The promotional trail for Netflix’s highly anticipated black comedy thriller Maa Behen has officially kicked into high gear, and its core team is pulling no punches. In a series of shockingly candid and hilariously unfiltered promotional interviews, Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit Nene, rising star Triptii Dimri, digital content creator Dharna Durga, and acclaimed director Suresh Triveni sat down to discuss the madness behind their upcoming film. Stepping away from standard, strictly rehearsed PR lines, the four creatives opened up about breaking stereotypes, the stark difference between Instagram acting and feature films, and how they built an intensely realistic, deeply dysfunctional mother-daughter bond on set.

Scheduled to hit screens on June 4, 2026, Maa Behen follows Rekha (Madhuri) and her two daughters, Jaya (Triptii) and Sushma (Dharna), whose chaotic family life descends into complete pandemonium when they suddenly discover a dead body in their kitchen. For an industry used to looking at family dynamics through a glossy, idealized lens, this interview highlights exactly why Maa Behen is aiming to turn the conventional Indian family structure entirely on its head.

Tearing Down the Matrix of the “Perfect Indian Mother”

For decades, mainstream Hindi cinema has comfortably placed mothers on an untouchable pedestal of endless sacrifice, tears, and unconditional tolerance. But during the interview, Madhuri Dixit Nene made it abundantly clear that her character, Rekha, shatters that archetype into a million pieces.

Director Suresh Triveni, known for his nuanced profiling of complex female protagonists in Tumhari Sulu and Jalsa, explained his absolute fascination with “morally grey” women characters. Triveni expressed that real life is inherently untidy, and the best humor and drama are born directly from unadulterated chaos. He noted that when characters are forced to operate in high-stress, questionable situations, their true psychological layers are peeled back for the audience to see.

The Power of “Besharam” Workshops and Real-Life Inspiration

Bringing together a legendary superstar, a mainstream dramatic actress, and an internet comedy influencer could have easily resulted in a disjointed on-screen dynamic. To break the ice and demolish the natural intimidation factor of working with an icon like Madhuri, Triveni institutionalized a series of intense, boundary-pushing acting workshops before shooting ever began.

This deliberate dismantling of traditional hierarchy allowed the trio to build an actual, lived-in camaraderie that translates directly to the screen. Triptii Dimri, who plays the seemingly responsible older daughter Jaya, confessed that while she struggled to keep her cool initially, she soon found herself genuinely bonding with Madhuri.

Interestingly, Triptii noted that the script resonated deeply with her own personal history. She recalled two fashionable, independent women from her childhood neighborhood who were constantly subjected to unfair societal judgment and branded as “strange” by local adults. Playing a part in a film that handles heavily judged, unconventional women felt like a cosmic way of apologizing to those misunderstood neighbors. Furthermore, Triptii drew parallels to her real-life mother, acknowledging how children often take maternal labor for granted without ever stopping to see the flawed, fragile human being behind the endless responsibilities.

Reel vs. Real: Dharna Durga’s Transition and Multi-Shift Eras

One of the most fascinating segments of the interview focused on the distinct bridge between digital content creation and traditional film acting. Dharna Durga, who has taken the internet by storm with her hyper-relatable comedic reels, stepped into her first major cinematic role as the younger sister, Sushma. Dharna admitted that the scale of a feature film set was wildly different from shooting on a smartphone, but she found unexpected inspiration. In fact, she hilariously revealed that the sheer madness of the Maa Behen set actually handed her a handful of new viral reel concepts that she plans to execute post-release.

The conversation also took an introspective turn when Madhuri reflected on how much the work culture within Bollywood has transformed. Looking back at the peak of her 1990s stardom, she painted a vivid picture of a chaotic, disorganized industry.

Madhuri emphasized that today’s actors have the luxury of being completely present for a single project for 30 to 40 days, allowing for a level of artistic focus that simply wasn’t structurally possible two decades ago.

Mutual Respect and the Zen of Madhuri

Throughout the exclusive interaction, Triptii Dimri could not stop gushing about her veteran co-star. For Triptii—who has recently navigated intense, heavy-duty roles—working alongside Madhuri was a masterclass not just in comedic timing, but in basic human decency.

“She is like a zen person, on and off set,” Triptii remarked admiringly. “There are absolutely no insecurities. Even if I manage to reach a fraction of her stature in my career, those are the exact qualities I want to retain—the humility, the kindness, and the giving nature.”

When asked how she maintains that legendary grace and how she ultimately wishes to be remembered by her massive global fanbase, Madhuri offered a profoundly simple, grounded reply:

The Ultimate Pitch

As the interview wrapped up, the cast displayed the precise, sharp-witted chemistry that Suresh Triveni has fought so hard to capture on celluoid. Leaving the audience with a brilliant, tongue-in-cheek elevator pitch, Triptii smiled and noted, “Baap-bhaaiyon pe bohot filmein dekh li hai…” (We have watched plenty of movies centered around fathers and brothers).

Without missing a single beat, Madhuri chimed in with her trademark megawatt smile to deliver the final punchline: “Ab maa-behen ki baari hai.” (Now, it’s the mother and sister’s turn).

With its stellar casting, subverted tropes, and a dark, bloody comedy at its core, Maa Behen promises to be a massive departure from standard Bollywood fare. If the natural, chaotic energy of this interview is any indication of what’s to come, audiences streaming Netflix are in for an incredibly wild ride.

Janhvi Kapoor Climbs 3,550 Alipiri Steps to Seek Blessings for ‘Peddi’

New Delhi, June 4, 2026: In a perfect blend of high-glam cinema and deep-rooted spiritual devotion, Bollywood and South Indian star Janhvi Kapoor once again made headlines by walking up the sacred Tirumala hills on foot. Ahead of the highly anticipated worldwide theatrical release of her massive pan-Indian project Peddi, the actress took the arduous, traditional Alipiri footpath route. Barefoot and dressed in a simple, elegant floral kurta-pyjama, Janhvi climbed all 3,550 steps to the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara to seek divine blessings.

The grueling 11-kilometer foot journey has rapidly caught the attention of the internet, with viral videos capturing her serene and humble behavior among fellow pilgrims. For Janhvi, this trek isn’t just a PR event; it is a deeply personal, long-standing familial tradition inherited from her late mother, the legendary screen icon Sridevi, who was an ardent devotee of Lord Balaji.

A Devotional Journey Caught on Camera

Videos circulating across social media platforms show a completely grounded side of the glamorous actress. Forgoing the elite convenience of VIP vehicular access up the hills, Janhvi chose to experience the pilgrimage exactly like millions of ordinary devotees do. Walking up the historic stone steps through the night, she was seen wearing earphones, moving quietly, and keeping a steady pace despite the physical toll.

What charmed onlookers and fans even more was her warmth during the journey. Despite her security detail trying to maintain a protective perimeter, Janhvi repeatedly paused her trek to greet star-struck devotees, flashing gentle smiles and patiently posing for quick selfies. Upon completing the steep climb in the early hours of the morning, she attended the special VIP Break Darshan alongside close family members, concluding her pilgrimage with traditional prayers guided by Vedic scholars at the temple’s Ranganayakula Mandapam.

The Legacy of Sridevi’s Tirumala Sentiment

This spiritual discipline has become a signature aspect of Janhvi’s life. Fans of South Indian cinema are well aware that her mother, Sridevi, made it a point to visit Tirumala during every major milestone of her career and personal life. Janhvi has kept that flame alive. Whether it is her birthday, a birth anniversary of her mother, or the launch of a high-stakes film, she frequently finds her way back to the Alipiri steps.

Social media users have flooded the internet with praise, contrasting her deep traditional roots with her modern, Gen-Z persona. Commenting on her barefoot walk, one fan remarked on X (formerly Twitter), “She could have easily taken the luxury route, but opting for the grueling 3,550 steps barefoot proves her dedication and genuine faith.”

Higher Stakes and Higher Hopes for ‘Peddi’

The timing of this spiritual trek aligns perfectly with what is arguably one of the biggest moments in Janhvi’s professional career. Her latest movie, Peddi, directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana, has finally arrived on the global box office stage. Produced on a massive budget of ₹300 crore by Vriddhi Cinemas, Sukumar Writings, and Mythri Movie Makers, the sports-action drama features Global Star Ram Charan in the titular lead role.

In Peddi, Janhvi plays a crucial, multi-layered character named Achiyamma, a rustic village woman from 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh. This role marks a massive evolutionary step for the actress in South Indian cinema. While her debut in the Telugu film industry alongside Jr. NTR in Devara: Part 1 was criticized for giving her limited screen time and restricted scope, Peddi presents her with heavy emotional depth and narrative prominence. Speaking at a massive pre-release event in Vijayawada, Janhvi had expressed extreme confidence in the film, stating, “This time, the audience will adore me a little more. Peddi is a grand theatrical experience about a man’s fight for identity, and I am proud to share space with Ram Charan sir.”

Early Box Office Reactions and Global Buzz

As the film rolls out in theaters worldwide across multiple premium formats—including IMAX, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema—early tracking suggests that Janhvi’s prayers are being answered. Peddi is currently enjoying an explosive response at the box office, with trade analysts predicting a staggering ₹100 crore opening weekend global haul.

The film’s narrative centers around an elite, multi-talented crossover athlete (played by Ram Charan) who leverages cricket, wrestling, and an indomitable competitive spirit to fight for the rights of the oppressed in his village. Beyond the action-packed sports sequences, director Buchi Babu Sana has teased an intensely emotional core, revealing that the final 50 minutes of the film are designed to leave audiences completely shocked, deeply moved, and walking out of theaters with heavy hearts. Backed by an epic musical score from Oscar-winner A.R. Rahman and a star-studded supporting cast featuring Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani, the film is poised to become a definitive cinematic milestone for 2026.

With Netflix locking down the post-theatrical digital streaming rights and the initial theatrical talk veering into heavily positive territory, Janhvi Kapoor’s physical penance at Tirumala feels like the perfect, positive prelude to a historic box office run.

Delhi Hotel Fire: Locals Turn Heroes Amid Inferno

0

New Delhi, June 4, 2026 — In the congested, winding alleyways of south Delhi’s Hauz Rani area in Malviya Nagar, a typical Wednesday morning exploded into a scene of unmitigated horror. Around 8:30 a.m., a catastrophic fire ripped through Flourish Stay, a six-storey bed-and-breakfast hotel. Within minutes, the structure became a towering furnace, trapping dozens of unsuspecting guests inside. The air was quickly swallowed by thick, toxic black smoke, punctuated by the shattering of glass, explosive blasts, and agonizing wails for help. Amid the suffocating darkness and the grim sight of burning bodies, the true story of the morning emerged from the pavement: ordinary local citizens, shopkeepers, and bystanders instantly transformed into heroic lifesavers, risking their own lives before emergency services could even arrive.

The neighborhood, known for its proximity to major medical centers like Max Hospital, is heavily populated with multi-storey budget lodges catering to outstation patients and international tourists on medical visas. When the fire broke out on the lower floors—allegedly due to an electrical malfunction—it spread with terrifying speed. Inflammable internal paneling and structural shortcuts acted as immediate accelerants, transforming the central stairwell into a chimney of toxic carbon monoxide. Because the establishment operated over 20 rooms despite having approval for only six, and possessed only a single, choked entry-and-exit point with no external fire escape, guests found themselves utterly sealed inside a death trap.

As the flames mounted, the screams of terrified occupants echoed across the neighborhood. Hearing the commotion, local residents abandoned their shops and homes, rushing toward the billowing smoke. Among the first to respond was 61-year-old Riyazuddin, who runs a small roadside shop directly opposite the burning hotel. Recognizing that time was running out and that trapped guests were preparing to take desperate leaps from the upper floors, Riyazuddin ran to his shed and dragged out around 15 thick commercial mattresses, rapidly spreading them across the hard pavement below the windows.

Moments later, the air grew so hot that occupants began throwing themselves from the upper ledges. “Everything was extremely tense,” Riyazuddin recalled. “People were coughing violently, waving shirts from the windows, and then they started jumping. One man who rolled over from the second floor broke his leg, but the mattresses saved his life.” Another resident, 40-year-old Mohammed Israr Khan, rushed to the scene after a frantic phone call from his brother. Finding the building’s interior entirely blinded by smoke, Khan and a group of local youths—including Wasim, Amir, Shahrukh, Afzal, and Anish—formed an ad-hoc rescue squad. Working with their bare hands alongside arriving police officers, they smashed through jammed glass windows, broke down doors, and began carrying unconscious victims out into the fresh air.

The scenes inside the building were deeply traumatizing for the volunteers. “When we entered, you couldn’t see an inch in front of your face,” said Khan, who performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on eight separate victims. “There was only smoke, screaming, and wailing from every floor. Many were trapped in the basement. Some bodies were already severely burnt, but we used our bare hands because every second mattered.” Khan tragically recounted pulling out five individuals who had already succumbed to asphyxiation. In one heartbreaking moment during the rescue, a deceased victim’s mobile phone began ringing. “It was the person’s mother asking about her child,” Khan said, his voice trembling. “I could not bring myself to say anything and just handed the phone to a police officer. I didn’t want to be the bearer of such devastating news.”

The rescue operation was further complicated by the demographic of the hotel’s clientele. The majority of the guests were foreign nationals, particularly from African nations and Turkmenistan, who were already physically frail and visiting Delhi for critical medical treatments. Wasim Raja, another local volunteer, recounted navigating the dark corridors to find two foreign women who had locked themselves inside a bathroom in a desperate bid to escape the heat. Both were unconscious from smoke inhalation. Raja single-handedly bundled them onto a mattress and carried them down the treacherous stairs to safety.

By the time the Delhi Fire Service brought the inferno under control, officials confirmed that the tragedy had claimed at least 21 lives—including 18 foreign nationals—while leaving dozens of others injured, with several remaining in critical condition. The high death toll was attributed primarily to asphyxiation, as the toxic smoke trapped victims in rooms that lacked openable windows or ventilation. The disaster has triggered memories of Delhi’s past high-rise tragedies, such as the 2019 Arpit Palace Hotel fire in Karol Bagh and the 1986 Siddharth Hotel blaze, both of which shared identical structural flaws: locked terrace doors, unauthorized construction, absent fire alarms, and single exit pathways.

In the immediate aftermath of the disaster, the Delhi Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) for culpable homicide not amounting to murder and arrested the building’s owner. Authorities have also announced a month-long, city-wide crackdown to inspect and seal properties violating fire safety norms. Yet, as the embers cooled, a palpable sense of fear and anger lingered in the narrow lanes of Hauz Rani. Strands of loose, dangling electrical wires still criss-cross the alleyways, serving as a grim reminder of the systemic negligence that plagues the city’s commercial hubs. Throughout the afternoon, anxious relatives and worried guests from adjacent lodges were seen checking out in droves, packing their bags to flee similar structural hazards. While government officials promise strict audits and legal accountability, the survivors know that the death toll would have been far more devastating if not for the raw courage of the ordinary citizens who ran toward the screams when the city burned.

‘Ek Bihari, Sab Pe Bhari’: Kohli Praises 15-Year-Old Prodigy Vaibhav

0

New Delhi, June 4, 2026: The Indian Premier League (IPL) has always been a tournament where talent meets opportunity, but the conclusion of the 2026 season delivered a moment that will be etched in cricket history. Moments after Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) lifted the IPL 2026 trophy by defeating the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, a heartwarming behind-the-scenes interaction stole the spotlight. Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli shared a special, viral pep talk with Rajasthan Royals’ 15-year-old batting prodigy, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

In a video released by the RCB camp that quickly took social media by storm, Kohli was seen embracing the youngster and offering him priceless career advice. Appreciating the teenager’s historic, fearless run in the tournament, Kohli used the iconic phrase, “Ek Bihari, Sab Pe Bhari” (One individual from Bihar is heavy enough to take on everyone). The line, celebrating Sooryavanshi’s roots in Samastipur, Bihar, instantly went viral, symbolizing a beautiful passing of the baton between Indian cricket’s present king and its brightest future star.

The Wholesome Passing of the Baton

The interaction unfolded during the post-match presentation when a respectful Sooryavanshi approached Kohli with his hands folded in a traditional namaskar. Kohli, known for his intense competitive spirit on the field but deep warmth off it, immediately broke into a smile, pulled the teenager into a warm embrace, and put his arm around the young boy’s shoulder.

Kohli told the teenager to remain focused on his development and keep working hard despite the sudden, massive media glare surrounding him. Earlier in the tournament, Kohli had already shown his admiration by signing the boy’s cap after Sooryavanshi unleashed a brutal batting assault on the RCB bowling lineup during a league match in Guwahati. However, this post-final meeting carried far more weight. With no match pressure left, it was a pure, unscripted moment of a modern legend mentoring a kid who has shattered almost every age-group record in the league.

A Season of Absolute Dominance

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s performance in IPL 2026 was nothing short of a fairy tale. Originally bought by the Rajasthan Royals for ₹1.1 crore during the 2025 auction, he played a partial role last year before getting a full run this season as an opener. He did not just accumulate runs; he completely tore up the T20 batting blueprint.

At just 15 years of age, Sooryavanshi finished the 2026 season as the youngest-ever Orange Cap winner, amassing an unbelievable 776 runs across 16 matches. What truly stunned cricket pundits—and caught Kohli’s eye—was his staggering strike rate of 237.30.

He narrowly missed out on matching Kohli’s historical record of four centuries in a single season, getting agonizingly dismissed in the nineties three separate times:

  • 93 against Lucknow Super Giants
  • 97 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator
  • 96 against Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2

Despite missing out on those individual milestones, his fearless approach carried Rajasthan Royals single-handedly deep into the playoffs. By the end of the tournament, his extra suitcase was overflowing with silverware, sweeping the Most Valuable Player (MVP), Super Striker, and Emerging Player of the Season awards.

Better Than the Legends at 15?

Cricket analysts have already started drawing startling statistical comparisons. When looking at the “first complete season” stats of all-time T20 icons like Chris Gayle, David Warner, or Rohit Sharma, Sooryavanshi blows them out of the water. While Chris Gayle scored 1,071 runs in his first full block of 28 matches at a strike rate of 162.52, Sooryavanshi scored his runs at a pace that is 66 runs quicker per 100 balls.

Young power-hitters usually come with high volatility, but the 15-year-old managed to combine sheer violence at the top of the order with unbelievable consistency. This rarest-of-the-rare quality prompted Virat Kohli’s childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma, to publicly praise the prodigy, labeling him a unique asset and advising him never to alter his natural, aggressive style.

Rising Above Off-Field Noise

With overnight superstardom comes the dark side of social media. Following the IPL final, a heavily edited, fake dubbed video circulated online, falsely portraying Sooryavanshi as arrogant and showing him calling Virat Kohli “slow and selfish” during a fabricated interview with veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle.

The cricket community quickly rallied behind the young boy. Harsha Bhogle took to social media to aggressively debunk the video, calling it “cruel and mischievous” toward a well-mannered teenager. Bhogle emphasized that Sooryavanshi has been exceptionally humble and respectful in all his real-life interactions. The release of the actual, heartwarming video by RCB showcasing Kohli’s “Ek Bihari Sab Pe Bhari” remark effectively shut down the trolls, proving that the bond between the legendary batsman and the rising prodigy is built on deep mutual respect.

What Lies Ahead: The Blue Jersey Beckons

With the IPL chapter wrapped up, Sooryavanshi is not resting on his laurels. While the entire nation talks about his T20 exploits, the teenager remains remarkably grounded, a trait heavily instilled in him by his father. He recently revealed that he is shifting his focus entirely toward the longer versions of the game.

The national selectors have clearly seen enough to be convinced. Reports indicate that Sooryavanshi’s historic IPL run has earned him a spot in the probables for the upcoming Asian Games. There are active discussions about fast-tracking him into the Indian national T20I squad for the upcoming tours of Ireland and England to prepare him for a regular role.

Transitioning from domestic franchise cricket to international platforms is a massive leap, but with the backing of legends like Sachin Tendulkar—who recently lauded his technical base and vouched for his future in Test cricket—and the viral blessing from Virat Kohli, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi looks completely ready to conquer world cricket. For a young boy coming out of Bihar, he has already proven the old adage true: he is indeed sab pe bhari.

700 Jobless, CEO Jailed: Inside the Hinjewadi IT Start-Up Scam

0

New Delhi, June 4, 2026 – In a shocking development that has sent ripples through Maharashtra’s tech community, a massive employment racket operating under the guise of a booming tech start-up has been busted in Pune’s prominent Hinjewadi IT hub.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad police have arrested Harshal Bhanudas Thakare, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ‘ThynkTech India OPC Pvt Ltd’ (also operating as Thynk Technology India). Thakare was apprehended in Nashik after a brief attempt to evade law enforcement. He is currently facing charges of criminal breach of trust and cheating under sections 316(2) and 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The abrupt closure of the firm has left over 700 young software engineers, fresh graduates, and interns abruptly jobless, staring at financial ruin and severely disrupted career paths.

The Modus Operandi: A Carefully Crafted Illusion

What makes the ThynkTech scam unique—and highly damaging—is the elaborate corporate facade the founders maintained. Unlike crude phishing or online job scams, ThynkTech constructed a highly believable physical presence. The company operated across four separate, polished office setups located on the 10th floor of the premium Gera’s Imperium Rise complex in Hinjewadi Phase II.

According to Senior Police Inspector Balaji Pandhare, Thakare intentionally scattered operations across small office setups and distinct project groups to prevent large groups of employees from easily communicating or recognizing the systemic issues building across the firm.

The recruitment strategy was aggressive and targeted. The firm built strong recruitment ties with prominent engineering and IT colleges throughout Maharashtra, including rural and semi-urban centers like Yavatmal, Jalgaon, and Nashik, alongside institutions in Pune. Desperate to break into the competitive tech industry, fresh graduates underwent an allegedly rigorous two-stage interview process before receiving formal offer letters on authentic-looking company letterheads.

The Laptop Trap and Financial Extortion

There was one critical condition attached to the coveted offer letters: all fresh recruits and interns were required to pay a mandatory security deposit of ₹15,000. The management claimed this cash collection was entirely collateral to safeguard the corporate Dell laptops assigned to them for work.

The physical distribution of brand-new laptops successfully eliminated any lingering suspicions among the applicants. However, police investigations later uncovered that the laptops were not owned by ThynkTech. Thakare had sourced approximately 350 laptops from five external hardware rental vendors. The entire operation began collapsing when ThynkTech failed to pay these vendors, leading one vendor to file a separate police complaint over unpaid dues amounting to ₹8.5 Lakhs.

In a move to cover his tracks as complaints began to rise, Thakare instructed employees in late March to return their laptops under the pretense that the company was transitioning away from its third-party hardware provider. Estimates suggest 70% to 80% of the workforce surrendered their hardware, never to see it or their security deposits again.

The Crash: Bounced Cheques and Sealed Doors

The initial phase of the company seemed promising, with freshers receiving their initial stipends on time to build corporate legitimacy. However, by January 2026, the cash flow abruptly stopped. Permanent staff, training heads, and interns went completely unpaid for months.

Whenever confronted, Thakare blamed temporary delays on internal financial audits or corporate transitions, promising that all funds would materialize by late February. When pressure intensified, the firm issued salary cheques that immediately bounced at the bank due to insufficient funds.

The final blow came on April 22, 2026. Employees arrived at the Hinjewadi office to find the doors padlocked and sealed. Taped to the glass entrance was a legal notice from the commercial property owner, stating that the company’s access was barred due to a total failure to pay office rent, maintenance fees, and utility bills since March. The CEO, along with HR executive Soumya Singh and Manager Dhruvil Parekh, had turned off their phones and vanished.

A Growing Crisis in the IT Corridor

The Forum for IT Employees (FITE), an organization advocating for tech workers’ rights, stepped in to coordinate with the Hinjewadi police after being flooded with complaints. FITE President Pavanjit Mane revealed that this is not an isolated incident, but rather a dangerous pattern targeting desperate job seekers.

According to FITE data, ThynkTech is the fifth IT firm in Pune to abruptly shut down under fraudulent circumstances within the last eight months. Cumulatively, these rapid closures have left between 4,000 and 5,000 IT professionals and freshers unemployed in the region. Another fraudulent firm, Flynaut, allegedly extorted up to ₹1.50 Lakh per employee as a “security deposit” before vanishing.

Investigators suspect that part of the scam’s profitability involved exploiting state and central skill development schemes. The firm allegedly collected official documentation from hundreds of interns to claim government stipends and training reimbursements while withholding those funds entirely from the actual workers.

Human Cost and Next Legal Steps

The emotional and economic fallout for the affected engineers is severe. Many victims belong to rural backgrounds, where families took out loans or pooled life savings to pay the upfront ₹15,000 fee, hoping to secure a stable footing in India’s competitive tech industry. Beyond losing months of income, these young professionals face a gap in their employment history and fear a permanent stain on their resumes.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad court has remanded Harshal Thakare to police custody until June 8 to allow for a deeper financial investigation. Police teams are tracking the financial trails to locate where the extorted deposits were routed. Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies are actively searching for the missing HR executive and manager to determine their level of involvement in the scam.

The Assistant Commissioner of Labor, S.T. Shirke, confirmed that the labor department has initiated regulatory tracking alongside the police to address the gross violation of employment laws and non-payment of wages.

Leclerc and Ferrari Finalize New Multi-Year Extension Ahead of Monaco GP

0

New Delhi, June 3, 2026 — In a move that solidifies one of Formula 1’s most deeply intertwined partnerships, Scuderia Ferrari HP has officially announced a new multi-year contract extension with Charles Leclerc. The blockbuster announcement, made on Wednesday on the immediate eve of Leclerc’s highly anticipated home race at the Monaco Grand Prix, locks down the 28-year-old Monegasque driver for the foreseeable future and takes him entirely off the driver market.

While Ferrari chose not to publicly disclose the exact expiration date of the new terms, team insiders suggest the updated agreement restructures financial benchmarks and performance milestones while securing his presence in Maranello well into the late 2020s. The contract extension underscores Ferrari’s unwavering commitment to stability and continuity as they navigate a highly competitive season and look toward F1’s evolving landscape.

A Childhood Dream Continued

For Leclerc, racing in the iconic scarlet red is far more than a professional assignment. Having joined the Ferrari Driver Academy back in 2016 before graduating to a full-time race seat with the Scuderia in 2019, his entire modern career has been built around the Italian stable.

Reflecting on the announcement, an emotional Leclerc expressed his gratitude and long-term vision for the team.

Leclerc also acknowledged the distinct weight that comes with driving for the grid’s most historic team. “Being a Ferrari driver is a dream, but it’s also a responsibility I never take for granted,” he added, promising to give “absolutely everything” to reward the unconditional passion of the tifosi.

Building on a Storied Legacy

With 155 Grand Prix starts under his belt for Ferrari, Leclerc has already etched his name deep into the team’s history books. He currently stands as Ferrari’s second most experienced driver in terms of total race starts, trailing only the legendary seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher.

Though championship titles have narrowly eluded Maranello during his tenure, Leclerc has consistently proven himself to be one of the most blistering and naturally gifted qualifiers of his generation.

Among his eight victories are some of the most emotionally charged moments in modern Formula 1 history, including unforgettable home turf wins for the team at Monza in 2019 and 2024, alongside his historic, long-awaited breakthrough victory on the very streets he grew up on at the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix.

Vasseur’s Vision for Stability

The decision to formalize this extension represents a natural progression under Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur. Since taking the reins at Maranello, Vasseur has prioritized creating an environment of trust and robust infrastructure capable of challenging for titles. Retaining Leclerc alongside seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton guarantees Ferrari arguably the most formidable, star-studded driver lineup on the grid for the coming seasons.

“Charles has been part of the Ferrari family for many years now, and this renewal feels like something very natural for us,” Vasseur stated. “Over these seasons we have seen him grow to become not only one of the strongest drivers in Formula 1 but also a person who is completely at one with the team and everything Ferrari represents. We appreciate his talent; we love his determination and the way he approaches every day with the people in the Scuderia, both on and off the track.”

The Battle Context

The timing of the announcement adds an electric layer of narrative to the Monaco Grand Prix weekend. Currently sitting third in the World Drivers’ Championship standings, Leclerc finds himself in a tight intra-team and inter-team battle. He remains just ahead of his teammate Hamilton, while chasing down the front-running Mercedes duo of Kimi Antonelli and George Russell, who have enjoyed an incredibly dominant opening phase to the season.

Despite Mercedes holding the upper hand in outright pace at recent conventional tracks, the tight, twisty, and unforgiving confines of the Circuit de Monaco offer Ferrari its absolute best shot at a Grand Prix victory this season. The SF-26 platform’s strong low-speed mechanical grip, excellent compliance over bumps, and nimble low-speed rotation are perfectly dialed into the unique challenges of the Monte Carlo streets.

Even championship leader Kimi Antonelli pointed to Ferrari as the definitive team to beat this weekend, explicitly noting that Leclerc’s qualifying masterclasses and Hamilton’s immense experience make the red cars the outright favorites around the harbor.

Looking Ahead to Immortality

By rejecting the temptation to test the open driver market, Leclerc has chosen the path of loyalty over convenience. While moving to a rival project might present different short-term engineering variables, the allure of achieving the ultimate crown with Ferrari remains the ultimate driving force for the Monegasque.

In the long history of Formula 1, champions are remembered, but those who bring the championship trophy back to Maranello achieve a level of sporting immortality reserved for icons. Ferrari has not secured a Drivers’ Championship since Kimi Räikkönen’s triumph in 2007. With a fresh contract in hand, total backing from the factory, and his home race directly ahead, Charles Leclerc’s mission remains completely unchanged: return Ferrari to the absolute pinnacle of motorsport.

India Blockbuster All-Format Tour to Ignite New Zealand Cricket Summer

0

New Delhi, June 3, 2026: Cricket fans in New Zealand are in for an absolute treat. New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has officially unveiled its international home schedule for the 2026-27 season, confirming a massive, record-breaking all-format tour by the Indian men’s cricket team. Billed as a “once-in-a-generation” event, the high-profile tour is set to kickstart the Kiwi summer with 12 matches packed into less than six action-filled weeks.

Running from October 22 to December 1, 2026, the Men in Blue will clash with the Black Caps across five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), five One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and two highly anticipated Test matches. This represents the largest inbound tour ever hosted by New Zealand Cricket in terms of total matches. It marks the first time India will play red-ball Test cricket in New Zealand since 2019, making it a historic occasion for players and fans alike.

A Generational Spectacle and Historic Milestone

This tour carries an extra layer of significance beyond the fierce on-field rivalry. The New Zealand Government is heavily backing the series as a centerpiece to celebrate 100 years of sporting ties between New Zealand and India. Over the last century, the relationship between these two cricketing nations has evolved from occasional test matches to one of modern sport’s most beloved rivalries, filled with mutual respect and competitive fire.

Critchley also noted that the administrative body is preparing for an unprecedented wave of “fandom and intensity,” expecting stadiums across the country to completely sell out. For local sports fans, experiencing the trademark noise, vibrant color, and electric atmosphere brought by Indian cricket supporters is being treated as a true bucket-list event.

The Road to the 2027 World Cup Begins

For India, the five-match ODI leg represents the opening salvo of serious tactical preparation for the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup. With the global 50-over tournament looming on the horizon, every single 50-over match becomes a critical evaluation ground for team combinations and strategy.

This tour will be particularly poignant for Indian cricket purists. It likely represents the final time that legendary veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will ever play competitive international cricket on New Zealand soil. Having already stepped away from the shortest format of the game on the international stage, the two stalwarts are focusing their remaining energies heavily on the 50-over format. Seeing them try to master the unique, windy, and swing-friendly conditions of New Zealand one last time is bound to be a major narrative pull for the global viewing audience.

Alongside the veteran bats, the presence of premier speedster Jasprit Bumrah—whose lethal pace and pinpoint yorkers are custom-made for the shorter Kiwi boundaries—ensures that India will bring maximum star-power to the Southern Hemisphere.

Breaking Down the Master Schedule

The tour is meticulously structured to progress through formats, gradually ramping up the tactical stakes. The action kicks off under the lights in Christchurch with fast-paced T20s, snakes across the major centers for the ODI series, and culminates in the pure drama of traditional Test cricket.

1. The T20I Series (Oct 22 – Nov 1)

The tour opens at Christchurch’s picturesque Hagley Oval with a back-to-back weekend double-header. The shortest format will then travel through Wellington, Auckland, and Hamilton, allowing local fans in every major hub to witness fast-paced, boundary-hitting action early in the spring.

2. The ODI Series (Nov 4 – Nov 15)

Immediately following the shortest format, the teams transition to 50-over mode. Auckland’s iconic Eden Park will host the opening ODI, followed by a mid-week clash in Wellington. The white-ball segment finishes with a bang at the stunning Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, which has been awarded the final two matches of the ODI series.

3. The Test Series (Nov 19 – Dec 1)

The grand finale shifts to the ultimate test of patience and skill: a two-match Test series. The legendary Basin Reserve in Wellington—famed for its lush green pitches and testing winds—will host the first Test starting November 19. The entire tour then comes full circle, concluding with the second and final Test back at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.

A Packed Summer Schedule Ahead

While the arrival of the Indian team is the crown jewel of the upcoming season, New Zealand Cricket has ensured that the rest of the home summer remains incredibly vibrant. Once the Indian team departs in early December, the focus will briefly shift to the women’s game. The White Ferns will welcome Bangladesh for a highly anticipated six-match limited-overs series, consisting of three T20Is and three ODIs played across December.

Following the New Year, the Black Caps will hit the road for a challenging four-test away tour in Australia. They will then return to home soil in late January to play host to Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan tour will serve as the perfect bookend to the summer, featuring three ODIs, three T20Is, and two final Test matches stretching into mid-February.

In total, cricket enthusiasts across the island nation can look forward to roughly 42 days of live, world-class international cricket played across eight different beautiful Kiwi cities. With the schedule locked in and ticket pre-sales starting shortly, the countdown to New Zealand’s biggest summer of cricket has officially begun.

Vivek Oberoi ‘Movie-Style’ Proposal Inspires Karan Kundrra on Desi Bling

New Delhi, June 3, 2026: In the glitzy world of reality television, unexpected moments of raw, genuine emotion often become the biggest highlights. Netflix’s hit reality show Desi Bling recently treated viewers to one such magical moment. What began as a high-stakes shopping trip for a diamond ring transformed into a beautiful walk down memory lane, bridging the gap between old-school Bollywood romance and modern-day television drama.

The episode featured popular television actor Karan Kundrra, who visited a luxury jewelry brand associated with Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi. Karan was on a deeply personal mission: hunting for the perfect engagement ring for his longtime partner, actress Tejasswi Prakash. Recognizing the nervous excitement of a man about to take the biggest leap of his life, Vivek stepped in not just as a host, but as a seasoned romantic guide. In a heartwarming behind-the-scenes conversation, Vivek decided to calm Karan’s nerves by sharing the elaborate, cinematic story of how he proposed to his now-wife, Priyanka Alva.

When Life Mimics Art: A Proposal in Florence

For Vivek Oberoi, love wasn’t a casual milestone; it was a grand production that required careful planning and the help of a tight-knit network. Reminiscing about the life-changing event, Vivek revealed to Karan that his proposal to Priyanka Alva was far from a spontaneous impulse. Instead, it was a beautifully orchestrated, multi-tiered surprise that stretched across continents and involved his future in-laws.

Vivek explained that the secret to a great proposal lies in the element of surprise. To pull off his master plan, he first had to gain the trust of Priyanka’s family.

While Priyanka boarded her flight to Europe completely oblivious to the grand gesture heading her way, Vivek was already on the ground in the historic city of Florence, meticulously arranging every single detail to ensure the day felt deeply personal, romantic, and unforgettable.

The Cinematic Scavenger Hunt

When Priyanka finally checked into her luxury hotel room in Florence, she didn’t find an empty space—she found a tailored experience waiting for her. Vivek had transformed the room into a beautiful gallery of gifts, filling it with items he had carefully handpicked to make her feel special.

The room was adorned with:

  • Designer clothing and high-end footwear chosen specifically for the occasion.
  • Exquisite jewelry pieces meant to complement her look for the evening.
  • A handwritten message from Vivek, guiding her on what to do next.

The handwritten note acted as a treasure map, instructing her to get dressed in the provided attire and follow a specific path out into the beautiful streets of Florence. The final instructions directed her toward an iconic bridge over the Arno River.

Recalling the exact moment the trap of love snapped shut, Vivek’s eyes lit up as he described the climax of the evening to a captivated Karan Kundrra.

Against the backdrop of a European sunset, Priyanka said yes, turning a meticulously planned vacation into the foundation of their lifelong journey together.

A Decade of Love and Anchored Foundations

The romantic foundation laid out on that Italian bridge clearly paid off. Following their dreamy engagement, Vivek and Priyanka were married on October 29, 2010, in a lavish, traditional South Indian wedding ceremony held in Bengaluru. Over the past decade and a half, the couple has built a quiet, stable life away from the relentless glare of the paparazzi, welcoming two children into their family: a son named Vivaan Veer and a daughter named Ameyaa Nirvana.

Throughout their marriage, Vivek has never shied away from publicly expressing his deep admiration and gratitude for his wife, frequently highlighting her role as the stabilizing force in his life. During a recent Mother’s Day, the actor shared a touching public tribute to Priyanka that gave fans a glimpse into their domestic bliss.

Passing the Torch to Karan Kundrra

Vivek’s trip down memory lane served a practical purpose on the sets of Desi Bling—offering invaluable inspiration to Karan Kundrra. Karan and his partner, Tejasswi Prakash, have been one of the Indian television industry’s most high-profile and adored couples ever since their romance blossomed on a popular reality television show a few years ago. With fans constantly speculating about when the duo will tie the knot, Karan’s appearance on a show centered around high-end jewelry and diamond selection raised immediate excitement.

By sharing his own story, Vivek reminded Karan—and viewers at home—that while a diamond ring is a beautiful symbol, the real magic lies in the effort, the thought, and the narrative you build around the commitment. A proposal doesn’t just mark the beginning of a marriage; it creates a story that a couple carries with them for the rest of their lives.

On the professional front, while Vivek continues to manage his business ventures and enjoy family life, he remains an active figure in the entertainment industry. He was last seen delivering a powerhouse performance as the antagonist, IG Joseph Chandy IPS, in the hit Malayalam action-drama Kaduva. However, as his stint on Desi Bling clearly proves, no matter how many intense characters he plays on the silver screen, Vivek Oberoi remains a hopeless romantic at heart, always ready to champion the cause of grand, cinematic love.

Inside Parineeti Chopra Heartwarming Life Updates with Baby Neer

New Delhi, June 3, 2026: For high-profile celebrities, life often moves at a breakneck pace, dictated by flashing cameras, packed shooting schedules, and constant public attention. However, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra’s recent life update proves that the most profound joy is often found when the world slows down. Embracing a beautiful new chapter of motherhood, Parineeti recently delighted her millions of social media followers by dropping a deeply personal and heartwarming collection of photographs. Capturing the gentle, quiet essence of her daily routine, she beautifully captioned the album: “It’s the little things that made May,” punctuated simply with a house and a blue heart emoji.

The viral post offers an intimate window into her life as a new mother to her baby boy, Neer. Instead of showcasing grand red carpets or glamorous film sets, Parineeti chose to celebrate the subtle, grounding moments that defined her month: self-care rituals, peaceful weather, indulgent homemade treats, and the colorful remnants of playtime scattered across her home.

A Glimpse Inside a Cozy May

Parineeti’s beautifully curated carousel photo dump carefully balances her identity as an elegant public figure with her reality as a devoted, hands-on mother. The visual journey begins with a striking photograph of the actress posing gracefully in an off-shoulder white ensemble. Radiating a natural, soft postpartum glow, she exudes a sense of calm and contentment that sets a peaceful tone for the entire personal album.

As viewers swipe through the collection, the images shift from personal portraits to the simple, universal joys of everyday life. One frame captures a decadent mango dessert lavishly topped with rich cream and delicate shavings of white chocolate—a sweet nod to seasonal summer indulgences and comfort food. Another snapshot showcases a serene landscape drenched in soft, gray monsoon rain, capturing the quiet beauty of a peaceful day spent indoors.

The most endearing photograph of the lot, however, takes fans straight into the heart of her motherhood journey. The camera focuses on a bright red, bunny-shaped toy resting gently on a classic Mickey Mouse-themed play mat. This subtle look into baby Neer’s world highlights how seamlessly her life has re-centered around her son. It is a visual representation of how a home changes when a child arrives—where designer decor naturally shares space with colorful toys, and where happiness is measured by a baby’s laughter and peaceful milestones.

The Journey of “Ragneeti” and the Arrival of Neer

Parineeti Chopra and her husband, prominent politician Raghav Chadha, have captured public affection ever since they tied the knot in a breathtaking, grand wedding ceremony in Udaipur on September 24, 2023. Fondly dubbed “Ragneeti” by fans and the media, the couple has consistently maintained a grounded approach to their relationship, frequently sharing their mutual love for travel, quiet family gatherings, and spiritual milestones.

The couple embarked on their greatest adventure yet when they welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on October 19, 2025. Announcing his arrival in an emotional, joint social media post, they wrote.

Exactly one month later, the proud parents shared the first glimpse of their newborn’s tiny feet and revealed his deeply poetic name: Neer Chadha.

Designing a Sanctuary for Growth

This recent photo dump isn’t the first time Parineeti has opened up about her thoughtful approach to parenting. Earlier, she and Raghav shared an intimate look inside the nursery they custom-designed for Neer. Reflecting their shared love for minimalism, the room was intentionally built to be a calm, meditative sanctuary.

Parineeti explained that they intentionally avoided loud colors, chaotic designs, and heavy stimulation during the initial postpartum months. Instead, they focused on letting in abundant soft sunlight, a cool breeze, and gentle, classic earth tones. Soft, soothing spiritual bhajans often play in the background, creating a restorative environment aimed at healing for the mother and peaceful development for the baby. The glimpse of the Mickey Mouse play mat in her May update shows how that serene environment is beautifully evolving as Neer grows older and more interactive.

Balancing the Boardroom and the Playroom

While Parineeti is clearly savoring every moment of her maternity leave, she has also masterfully begun mapping out her professional return. Rather than diving straight back into demanding, month-long film shoots away from home, she has chosen projects that align closely with her current reality and creative growth.

She recently made headlines with the launch of her highly anticipated, insightful chat show, ‘Mom Talks With Parineeti Chopra’. On this platform, she steps into the role of a host, inviting celebrity parents from various walks of life to have raw, unfiltered conversations about the realities, struggles, and profound triumphs of raising children. The show has resonated deeply with audiences, as it strips away the glamorous facade of celebrity parenting and addresses universal themes like mom-guilt, sleep deprivation, and identity shifts.

Furthermore, fans of her acting work have plenty to look forward to. Following her widely acclaimed, powerhouse performance in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, Parineeti is gearing up for her digital debut in a gritty mystery-thriller titled ‘Talaash: A Mother’s Search’. Directed by Rensil D’Silva, the series features a stellar ensemble cast including Soni Razdan and Tahir Raj Bhasin. Ironically, playing a mother on screen while experiencing the profound depths of maternal love in real life promises to bring an entirely new layer of emotional maturity to her upcoming performance.

Ultimately, Parineeti Chopra’s mid-year reflection serves as a gentle reminder to her audience. In a world that constantly demands more hustle, sometimes the ultimate luxury is a quiet rainy day, a sweet slice of a mango, and watching a child grow up in a room filled with love.
